Rosuvastatin is a member of pharmaceutical class known as statins, used for lowering blood cholesterol and antihyperlipidemia.Rosuvastatin, a statin that combines exercise, diet control, and weight loss to treat hypercholesterolemia and other related conditions, and is also used to prevent cardiovascular disease.

Rosuvastatin has a significant effect of lowering blood lipids, and statins typically reduce LDL-C levels by 17% to 54%. The results of phase II clinical trial of rosuvastatin showed that LDL-C was 65% at the dose of 80 mg, which was the best in statin. Rovastatin can increase the number of LDL receptors. Application
